Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in love, life and everything in between. Hope you have a nice stay!

Other Stuff I Did in NYC

Hey y’all Hey! Unless you have been under a rock, you know I was in New York during NYFW and attended The Curvy Con and Curvy Noire, but I figured on this TBT I would share a few things outside of fashion that I did while there. News Flash food is involved. LOL!

The first thing I did when I got to my hotel was go get pizza. I mean its NYC. My hotel recommended a place that was in walking distance. I ate there three times while I was there.

We went to the Sugar Factory. If you have never been next time, you are in NYC or Vegas you must go. We had rainbow-colored sliders and other apps, but the most exciting was the milkshake I had and the drink my friend had. Both equally cool and yummy. I’m not a big drinker so I wasn’t paying $40 for a drink, but y’all know I love sweets so a $21 milkshake was cool with me.

This place is also known and loved by lots of celebrities…The Kardashians, Nicki Minaj, CeeLo Green just to name a few. I will admit I was skeptical if the food would be good because of all the hype but it was.

I got my makeup done at the MAC store in Times Square. I don’t know that it was that cool or just because I was hanging out in Times Square. It was interesting for sure.

We had dinner at Sylvia’s (Queen of Soul Food) it was so good. I’m sure a bit of heaven is in the cornbread.

My friend had plans on Sunday evening, so I thought why not get out and do a little sightseeing. I went to the Eloquii store in SOHO. If you know me then you know they are my favs.

After that, I just walked around the area, did window-shopping, and people watching. I had the best time just walking around that area.

Then had a solo dinner at BLVD BISTRO. It was good. Clearly, I only ate chicken and pizza in New York. Not much from my norm LOL! I have to do better my next vacation.

Finally, yet importantly, I went to The Color Factory. At first, I was like ugh, it’s somewhat expensive, but YOLO! It was super neat, and they provided many snacks so well worth it.

Oh, and I had pizza again (same place) before I headed to the airport. LOL

NYC owes me nothing…although they took all my money I had a blast and can’t wait to go back. If you have, any recommendations of things to do/see in NYC let me know in the comments.
