Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in love, life and everything in between. Hope you have a nice stay!

You Go Girl

Y’all I cannot believe the last time I posted a You Go Girl was July 1st and that was sharing June accomplishments. Where did the time go? Each month, I remember telling myself I need to do it and never did but we are back now. At least we can finish 2019 strong.

In case you are new here or because it has been so long, let me remind you what this is about. The “You Go Girl” monthly series is for US. Most of us make New Year’s resolutions at the beginning of each year and as each month ends, we begin to think we are losing time if we haven’t accomplished it all so I  decided at the end of each month instead of thinking of what we have not accomplished, we should think about all that we have. I share my accomplishments every month and hope you share yours so that we can celebrate each other.

As mentioned, it has been a while so I am only going to share the highlights because nobody has time to read a super long post. I hope that if you follow me on Instagram and Facebook you know a bit, about what I’m doing.

My accomplishments from July, August, September and October:

  • I have collaborated with Jessica London, July-October. I am so excited they want to work with me. Every time I get the email, I get excited all over again. We are building a great relationship and I couldn’t be happier. Make sure to keep showing love on the post so they will want to work with me.

  • If you read these monthly you know I have tried to get to 2000 followers seems like forever. Well, y’all I finally did it. I am now at 2,190 followers. Thank you so much for following and supporting me. Means the world.

  • I did many updates to my house and I am very happy with them. The main thing was creating a space for blogging, videos, etc. and I now have it and I love it. I hope that you have caught a glimpse in some videos, but if not no worries, you will see it often.

  • I collaborated with a waist trainer brand and it was my first collaboration that I received real payment.

  • Attended The Curvy Fashionista’s Expo in ATL, The Curvy Con and Curvy Noire in NYC. For me attending events like this help me grow as a blogger and I meet a lot of other bloggers and build relationships all over.

  • Collaborated with Fab Fit Fun and did a cool unboxing video in my new blog room. I think it was my first video in my room.

  • I was featured on Instyle Magazine as one of the Best Dressed-Plus Size Women during NYFW. I’m still on cloud nine from that. Did not see it coming and it was such a highlight of my year.

  • Shot my first short videos. I was so nervous and it was so out of my comfort zone, but I did it and y’all seem to like them.

These are the highlights from those months and honestly, I can’t complain 2019 has been okay with me. I cannot believe that we are less than two months away from 2020. A whole other decade. WOW! I’m not sure what the end of 2019 has in store for me but I’m open.

Let’s celebrate you now. What all have you accomplished the last few months? And don’t forget nothing is too small. I expect to see long list in the comments. I know y’all are out there being great. I cannot wait to celebrate you.

Until next month…for real!
