Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in love, life and everything in between. Hope you have a nice stay!

2020 Highlights

Before I jump into 2021 goals, word for the year, etc. let’s look back at 2020. When typing it out I realized that 2020 wasn’t that bad. Well, we know the dating part is terrible, but what about the blog and career goals.

I ended 2020 by making my own backdrop and dressing up for NYE. LOL!

My accomplishments from 2020:

  • I finally made it to over 3k followers. Depending on how long you’ve been here you know this is huge.

  • I’ve partnered/collaborated with some amazing brands and some more than once, which means they like what I’m doing. ModCloth, Dia and Co, Printfresh, Fashion to Figure, Fabletics, Chic Soul, Lane Bryant, Eloquii, Blowfish and Talbots.

  • I’ve been very consistent on social media and more blog post.

  • COVID turned me into a decorator. Being stuck at home, I realized my house wasn’t a home so I’ve been making all kinds of improvements around the house. I’m so happy with my home now.

  • I was walking pretty consistently since we got stuck in the house until the temps dropped. I found it was therapeutic for me. Looking for a plan B because I’m not about walking in the cold.

  • Although they suck and boy do they suck I haven’t deleted the dating apps off my phone. Hey, this is HUGE.

  • I’ve collaborated with other bloggers on different things and it’s been cool.

  • I did a really cool Christmas campaign and was able to give out some pretty amazing gifts.

  • I still have a job. With all that COVID has brought on I’m super thankful to still have a job.

  • Last but definitely not least my dad got really sick earlier last year and since I was working from home, I was able to stay with my parents to help take care of my dad and was able to stay on the doctors and nurses. With all that COVID has brought on I’m super thankful I was able to do that. Although I don’t live too far from my parents being able to be in the same house with them and being right there when anything happened was a blessing.

Those are my highlights of 2020, and I can’t complain. 2020 has been interesting to say the least, but I’m glad I didn’t let 2020 take me down and I stayed the course and continued to grow my blog, my friendships and well the dating apps are still on my phone so there’s that.

Share with me some of your highlights from 2020. I hope it wasn’t all bad.
